Spanish as a second language in Jamaica

A PM who believes in the benefits of Spanish as a second language!

Earlier this week in Parliament, Prime Minister, The Most Honourable Andrew Holness shared his commitment to language learning initiatives, after his recent meeting with Cuban President, Raul Castro, at the the 7th Summit of the Association of Caribbean States.

PM Holness added that Jamaicans "will have to make the bold step to making Spanish our second language and making it compulsory in schools."

The team at Fundaciones is excited about this and continues to promote Spanish sessions in more cities for access by more children.......
