Registrations

How do I register my child?

All student registrations are done through our website. For preschool & prekindergarten registrations please click here
Please note that preschool & prekindergarten registrations are little more detailed. In order to complete your registration you will also need to submit the following:

  • registration fee of $2,000
  • a copy of student’s birth certificate
  • a copy of immunization card
  • a photo

What do I do once I’ve registered my child online?

Once you complete and submit your online registration, you will receive an email from a member of the Fundaciones team within 48 hours.

Is the registration fee refundable for preschool & prekindergarten?

Unfortunately this is a non-refundable fee.

Can I pay online?

Not yet…Payment is collected by our educational concierge at our centres. This must be made payable directly to FUNDACIONES LIMITED via cheque, cash, credit/debit card or account transfer.

Does registration guarantee my child a space?

Registering online does not guarantee your child a space. In order to provide your little ones with the love, care and attention they need an specific adult child ratio must be maintained and as such space is limited.

When can I see the school?

Tours are available and done outside of school hours for various reasons. These are usually scheduled for Friday afternoons and done by appointment only. Please use the link below to schedule an appointment.

Day to day management preschools/prekindergarten

What’s the staff to child ratio?

Our kid to adult ratio is 6:1 for little ones up to age 3 years. Between 3 to 5 years the ratio is 8:1. From time to time additional staff members are brought on for specific activities.

What if there’s an accident?

The Fundaciones preschool team members are CPR/ First Aid trained and as such in the event of a minor injury will be treated by a staff member and also by our school nurse.

Please also specify the procedures we should take in the event of an emergency on your child’s preschool/prekindergarten registration form.

What do I send with my child to preschool/ prekindergarten?

Each child should come to school with a school bag and a lunch pan. In the school bag we encourage a change of clothes, underwear/ diapers (a minimum of two) along with any medication that is required (for example, if the child is asthmatic and needs to be puffed, the inhaler should be packed). At certain times of the year depending on the activities, children are encouraged to pack sunscreen and a cap for outdoor play.

Children are required to bring their own snacks, drinks and water. Fruits, sandwiched (and other healthy foods that children can feed themselves) are recommended. Cups, spoons, etc are not provided.

Should I label my child’s belongings?

All belongings MUST be labeled before coming to preschool/ prekindergarten.

Is there a uniform?

All children are required to wear a short sleeved white polo shirt, any bottom, white socks and closed toe shoes (Crocs are allowed).

Does my child need to be potty-trained to attend preschool/ prekindergarten?

No. Children do not need to be potty-trained to attend preschool/ prekindergarten. This process varies for all children and as such our school nurse is able to provide the individual attention required.

What are the preschool & prekindergarten daily hours?

Preschool times run Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Prekindergarten times run Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

What’s the earliest I can drop my child to school?

In an attempt to provide meaningful learning experiences we are able to receive your little ones as early as 7:45 a.m.

What’s the latest I can collect my child from school? / What if I’m late?

We facilitate a 30 minute delay for pick up but we do understand that sometimes situations are beyond our control. As such we rely on your communication with us so we can offer care to your little ones.

After school care is available at an additional cost of $500 each day. The latest time for pick up is 4:00 p.m.

Are provisions made for my child to nap at school?

There’s always so much to do in preschool that we feel it’s unfair to charge you for your child to sleep. As such we have no cots.

Can I send my child to school sick?

Do not send your child to school if any of the following exist:

  • fever, currently or within the past 24 hours
  • diarrhea or vomiting
  • yellow or green runny nose
  • any symptom of childhood disease such as chicken pox
  • sore throat/ “croupy” cough
  • any unexplained or contagious rash or pink eye
  • lice

What does the school fee cover?

All materials are included in the school tuition. In addition, our learning centres are comfortable, safe and secure with various technology tools.
